Mikayla's Visit

For 7 days we had the pleasure of having Mikayla stay with us. She is our old neighbor from Mill Race Ct. Her sister was in a volleyball tournament in Orlando last week. When Kayla heard that her mom was driving to FL with her big sis, she insisted on coming to Sam & Zoe's house....boy are we glad she did! We had so much fun as the "BFF's" got reaquainted. We played at the beach, sang karaoke, roasted marshmallows, went out for ice cream, visited the Alligator Farm, spent a lot of time swimming, went to the movies, baked a homemade cake & made homemade pizza....just to name a few things! She even met some new FL friends, Ashley & Shelby. We can't wait to see her again when we come to OH in August!

Soccer & Swimming, Gators & Grads, Oh My!

The FL humidity was even a lot for Papa who claims that it can't be too hot & that he doesn't sweat (we proved that wrong!). When he & Mema returned to OH, Papa told Steve that it was like being in a soup kitchen here! I have to hand it to them though. The endured 3 soccer games on Saturday, which by the way ended with Sam's team securing the championship for U9 in St. John's County!!! We also visited the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine, Brendon's Graduation Party & got some time in at the pool. Oh yeah....& lots of ice cream! A whirlwind visit with lots crammed into it, but everyone enjoyed it!
